Laser Vein Therapy
Lasers may also be used to target leg and facial veins. These veins are often the result of sun exposure, use of birth control pills or hormone therapy, age or genetics. The laser directs energy to the vein, destroying it. Generally one to three treatments are necessary depending upon the area treated.
There may be some mild redness and swelling following treatment which generally resolves within 24 hours. There is no need for compression hose and normal activities may be resumed immediately. Results will usually be seen in about 3-4 weeks. We require a test patch be performed prior to any treatment for your safety.
